چکیده
Abstract This paper presents a study that determines the conditions of testing for determining bounding properties seismic isolators use in analysis and design test is meant to be replacement tests Items 2(a) 3 ASCE/SEI‐7. Then separately, adequacy maximum considered earthquake Item 4 The are determined by performing analyses with models account time‐variant computing resultant isolator displacements. In work, large number isolation systems (total 96 systems, single friction pendulum, triple pendulum lead‐rubber), three different hazards as measured spectral acceleration at period one second, collection bi‐directional ground motions short‐ long‐duration characteristics (71 pairs each duration, hazards) were considered. Fundamental this methodology which (friction or characteristic strength) dependent on instantaneous temperature sliding interfaces lead core.

An Advanced Exponential Model for Seismic Isolators Having Hardening or Softening Behavior at Large Displacements
Abstract—In this paper, an advanced Nonlinear Exponential Model (NEM), able to simulate the uniaxial dynamic behavior of seismic isolators having a continuously decreasing tangent stiffness with increasing displacement in the relatively large displacements range and a hardening or softening behavior at large displacements, is presented. The mathematical model is validated by comparing the exper...
متن کاملSpecification-Based Testing for CoCasl's Modal Specifications
Specification-based testing is a particular case of black-box testing, which consists in deriving test cases from an analysis of a formal specification. We present in this paper an extension of the most popular and most efficient selection method widely used in the algebraic framework, called axiom unfolding, to coalgebraic specifications, using the modal logic provided by the CoCasl specificat...
متن کاملCoverage Criteria for Testing DMM Specifications
Behavioral modeling languages are most useful if their behavior is specified formally such that it can e.g. be analyzed and executed automatically. Obviously, the quality of such behavior specifications is crucial. The rule-based semantics specification technique Dynamic Meta Modeling (DMM) honors this by using the approach of Test-driven Semantics Specification (TDSS), which makes sure that th...

In m odel-based testing the behavior of a system u n d er test is com pared autom atically w ith the behavior of a model. A significant fraction of issues found in testing appear to be caused by m istakes in the model. In o rd e r to ensure th a t it prescribes the desired behavior, it has to be validated by a hum an. In this w ork we describe a tool, esm V iz, to support this validation. M ode...
متن کاملEquipment Specifications and Methods for Dynamic Testing
Both the new ASAE S518 standard (2) and the revised draft international standard DIS/ISO 5707 (3) incorporate performance standards for vacuum stability in milking systems. New NMC procedures for system evaluation include dynamic tests for vacuum stability to demonstrate the adequacy of new or existing milking systems (7) . Such dynamic (i.e. "milking-time") tests require the use of test instru...
